PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Paul Joseph Tower, 32, of Pittsfield, Mass., died on Saturday May 27, 2017, at his home after a long illness.



He was born in Pittsfield on June 10, 1984, a son of Daniel and Sandra (Ostaski) Tower.



He attended schools in Pittsfield, including Pittsfield High School. He was later employed at North Adams Commons, where he worked as a cook. He was an avid New England Patriots fan, and enjoyed camping, and spending time outdoors with family.



Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Sandra Tower and Michael Cornell of Pittsfield; his father Daniel Tower of Maine; a sister, Jennifer Tower of Pittsfield; nephews Ethan Tower and Alex Martin; maternal grandmother Anne Ostaski of Pittsfield; paternal grandmother Betty Lou Grady of Pittsfield; cousins Michael and his wife Rhianon Hayes, Nicole Lennon, Rebecca Bannister, Jerry and Michael McClelan; aunts and uncles Robin and Jerry LeMay, Eugene Ostaski, Sharon McClelan, and Patricia and Greg Desiato; as well as many friends.



Funeral notice: A celebration of Paul’s life will take place at a later date. Donations in his memory can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals is in charge of the arrangements.
