PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Gary M. Clemons of Pittsfield, Mass., passed away on December 18, 2017.
He was the son of John Clemons and Betty Wesley Clemons of Pittsfield.
Gary worked as a carpenter for Jeff Clemons Builders, and John Burrato Construction and also previously worked at Mazzeos Market. When he was young, he played Little League baseball and Pee-Wee football. He also enjoyed bowling and softball.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Jean Simmons and her husband Edward, Judi Clemons (Mike Patricelli), and Jacqueline Biondi (Larry Byck); his brothers, John Clemons, Jeffrey Clemons (Jody DiSanti), Scott Clemons; and his nieces and nephews, Sara, Matthew, Rebecca, Kelsey, R.J., Michael, Carly, Cortnee, and Kyleigh. He had a great love for everyone in his family.
Gary was predeceased by a son, Sheldyn Merriam Clemons.
Funeral notice: Funeral services for Gary M. Clemons will be held December 23, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home in Pittsfield. Calling hours will start at 12:30 p.m. prior to the funeral services.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, Brien Center, or Christian Center, all in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
