Mark J. Lahey, 61

February 22, 2018


PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Mark James Lahey, a retired plumbing and heating contractor of J.R. Lahey Jr. Mechanical Contractors Inc., passed away on February 22, 2018. He was 61 years old.  



He is survived by his parents, John R. Lahey Jr. & Angeline M. Lahey of Naples, Fla., and his brother Gary Lahey. He is also survived by his children, Ryan Lahey and Shawna Kisselbrock; Ryan’s wife Silvani Lahey and Shawna’s husband Justin Kisselbrock; and all of his grandchildren: Caio Lahey, Yanna Lahey, Luma Lahey, Wesley Willey, and Sandra Kisselbrock. 



Mark was born on June 21, 1956. As he grew up he loved sports especially football. He graduated from Taconic High School in 1974. After he graduated he assumed a role in the family business of plumbing and heating. He was an active member of St. Ann’s Church in Lenox. Mark was a loving father and “Papa” to his children and grandchildren. He took pride in providing for his family and was a hard-working man.



Funeral notice: Services will take place Friday, March 2, 2018, at 9 a.m. from the Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Funeral Home, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 134 Main St., Lenox, Mass., with the Rev. Christopher J. Waitekus, Pastor of St. Mary's Church, Longmeadow, Mass., officiating. 



Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday, March 1, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m.
