PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Richard Bruce Armstrong, 62 of Pittsfield passed away March 2, 2018, at home. He was born January 14, 1956, to Dora Wheeler and Joseph R. Armstrong Sr.



Richard attended local schools and was a communicant of the former St. Mary the Morning Star Church. He was a trucking scheduler and worked for Browns Packaging in Adams and most recently at Marchesio Trucking.



He leaves behind his brother, John Armstrong and wife Doreen of Tucson, Ariz.; nephew Patrick Armstrong and wife Trista of Ayer, Mass.; nephew Michael Armstrong of Adams, Mass.; niece Cheryl Armstrong of Tucson, Ariz.; and several great-nieces and nephews.



He was predeceased by his parents; and brother Joseph Armstrong Jr.



Funeral notice: A graveside service for Richard B. Armstrong will be held Saturday March 10, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Pittsfield Cemetery with Rev. Peter A. Gregory officiating.
