PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Stanislawa “Stella” Trzepacz, 85, of Pittsfield, Mass., passed away March 14, 2018, at Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility.
She was born in Poland on May 9, 1932, to the late Jozef and Maria Orszulak Bezak. She married Stanislaw Trzepacz on July 29, 1973. She came to the United States on March 15, 1976, and settled in Pittsfield, Mass. Mrs. Trzepacz was a maintenance worker for Berkshire Life Insurance Company from 1976 to 2001.
She was a communicant of the former Holy Family Church and also St. Joseph’s Church. She was a member of the Polish National Alliance and the Rosary Sodality at Holy Family. Stanislawa enjoyed her flower garden, and baking and cooking.
She leaves behind her husband, Stanislaw Trzepacz; a daughter, Elzbieta “Ala” Trzepacz and her husband Nicholas Witherell of Pittsfield; a granddaughter, Alexandra; two sister, Zofia Wadas of Ludlow, Mass., and Cecilia Glob of Poland; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother and twin Alfred Bezak, and brother Jan Bezak.
Funeral notice: Funeral services for Stanislawa Trzepacz will be held Monday, March 19, 2018, at 8:15 a.m. from Dery Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael Shershanovich. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Joseph’s Church in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
