PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Lorraine D. Ploss, treasurer of Berkshire Custom Coating, wife of the deceased Charles Ploss, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Lorraine will be remembered most for her kind spirit, generosity and ability to bring smiles to anyone, anywhere.
As she resided the last year of her life at Sugar Hill, she made many new friends among residents and staff alike. Lorraine touched many people up until her last few breaths as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.
Lorraine leaves behind her son, Kevin C. Ploss and his wife Terrill of Richmond; daughter Darlene M. St. Peter and her wife Fran Rachles of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; three grandchildren, Jared Ploss and his wife Sharon, Ashlin Ploss and his fiancé Christine Francks and Gabrielle Rancourt and her husband Dana; and three great-grandsons, Callen, Camden and Miles.
Funeral notice: Per Lorraine’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Hospice Care in The Berkshires. Dery Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
