PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Patricia Ann (Pat) Soldalto joined her beloved Lee in heaven on April 24, 2018.
As was her wish, Pat peacefully passed away at home in the care of her loving children, Donna Marie (Terry) Kushi, Daniel (Jennifer) Soldato, Leanne DiMassimo and Steven Soldato. Pat is also survived by her grandchildren Eric (Lauren) Kushi, Kelly Kushi, Gabrielle and Daniel DiMassimo, Nicholas, Jacob and Max Soldato; her great-grandchildren, Esperanza and Lideah Santana and Orlando Ramos; her brother Wilfred (Dorothy) Hogue; and a large family of brothers and sisters in-law, Joanne (Thomas) Dean, Linda (Mark) Holloway, Mary (Burt) Harrington, Billy (Darla) Soldato, Betty (Dave) Filkins, Francie Anderson, Janelle (Perry) McDaniel and her aunt Elaine Soldato.
Pat was born in Pittsfield, Mass., on June 26, 1942, to Wilfred and Stella (Tchorz) Hogue. She was a 1960 graduate of St. Joseph High School. Her first love was speed skating where she competed and was highly regarded in the field. Completing some college to go on and become a bookkeeper for Pittsfield Supply and H&S Auto, and upon retiring, came to love the game of golf.
Her focus in life was family, friends and spending as much time as she could on the golf course. She was a longtime member of the GEAA and Elks Lodge Pitch League, where she met many people who became good friends. She was our family’s enforcer, but for as much as she would try to make us believe she was tough, she had a huge heart and would be the first to offer help to anyone in need. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Our comfort rests in knowing that she is finally with the love of her life, and Lee is smiling again. Thank you to Robyn from the Berkshire VNA and Tracy from Hospice, for all their help and support.
