PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Akeem Z. LeClair, 24, of Pittsfield, Mass., passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2018. 

He was predeceased by his mother, Stacy Mensah-Green, in December 2007. 

He is survived by his father, Frank Dillard of Pittsfield. He also leaves behind his twin brother Alex LeClair of Pittsfield; sister Santana Letter of Adams; his brothers Michael Letter of Adams, Todd LeClair of Pittsfield, Tarrenz LeClair of North Adams, and Devon Jones of Pittsfield; his maternal grandparents, Elmer and Linda Green of Pownal, Vt.; and his paternal grandparents, Francis and Clara Dillard of Pittsfield. 

He had many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, as well as his beloved nieces, Stacy Lynn, Hollie Ann, Isabella and Iyanna. 

He loved being around friends and family. He was a very loving and caring person, and no matter who you were, he made you smile. 

Funeral notice: Calling hours for Akeem will be held Monday, July 23, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name in care of the funeral home.
