PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Paula M. Dillon, 63, quietly passed away in the early evening of July 28, 2018, following a long struggle with cancer.
She leaves behind her husband Patrick; a son Kegan; a brother, Daniel Furci, his wife Terry and their children Derek and Maria; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Virginia Dillon; and two sisters in-law, Kellie Dillon and Marsha Dillon.
Paula was predeceased by her son Conor; and her parents Rose and Al Furci.
Paula was a 1972 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School and earned an associate degree from BCC. She worked in retail sales and was employed at Out of Hand and Windy Hill Farm of Great Barrington and more recently Pine Cone Hill in Pittsfield, Mass.
Her favorite pastimes were cooking, gardening, traveling and drinking good wines with friends and loved ones. Paula will be remembered for her deep compassion and keen insights, the fidelity and love she projected and her level headed approach to any problem or concern. Many will remember her in spirit as a true companion in both good and hard times.
Funeral notice: Calling hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Funeral Home, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, will be Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. Inurnment will be private and the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
