PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Barbara Dudley, 71, of Pittsfield and Lenox, died Sunday morning, October 28, 2018, at her home. 

She was born April 29, 1947, the daughter of the late Elmer and Mildred Dudley. 

Barbara found joy in the simple things in life: a walk on the beach during many Cape Cod vacations, laughing with friends, playing cards, Wheel of Fortune and flirting with her staff (her honey's). Barbie loved animals and found much happiness with animals of all kinds, especially puppies and kitties. 

She brought light and joy into every room she entered. She was predeceased by her special friend James. She will be greatly missed by all her housemates and friends at BCArc.

Funeral notice: Funeral services for Barbara Dudley will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Dery Funeral Home. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to BCArc or HospiceCare of the Berkshires, in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, Mass.
