PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Kathleen Marion Dalzell, 84, of Pittsfield, Mass., passed away January 6, 2019, at Berkshire Medical Center.



Born on May 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Callahan Beattie, she was educated in Pittsfield Schools.



Kathleen was married on July 13, 1956 to Theodore A. Dalzell, Sr. She worked for Zayre Department Store as a clerk for five years and at Bradlees Department Store in the cash office for 32 years.



Mrs. Dalzell enjoyed golfing at Wahconah Country Club and playing Mahjong with her friends



She leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Theodore A. Dalzell Sr.; two sons, Theodore A. Dalzell Jr. and wife Karen Sedgewick of Pittsfield and Richard M. Dalzell and wife Joanne of Springfield, Mass.; daughter Debra Ann Cusson and husband Brian of Mooresville, N.C.; five grandchildren, Brett Dalzell, Ashley Pope, Chris Cusson, Laura Schiller and Greg Cusson; two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Ryan; her brother, Richard Beattie of Pittsfield; some very special nieces and nephews; as well as wonderful friends.



She was predeceased by her brothers, William, Frank and Arthur Beattie; and her sisters, Marylou Brodeur, Margaret Pecon, Rosemary Pepoon, and Betty Cullen.



Funeral notice: Services for Mrs. Dalzell will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Salvation Army in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
