PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Jonathan Paul Pettibone, 36, of Pittsfield, Mass., passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2020, at home.
He was a beloved father, son, grandson, brother, fiancé, uncle, and cousin. He will be greatly missed.
Jonathan spent many years caring for his father as a PCA and had recently started working at Melbourne Place as a CNA. He attended Pittsfield Public Schools.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and children. He and his fiancé were middle school sweethearts.
Jonathan leaves behind his fiancé, Sonya Kenney of Pittsfield; his children, Anthony Pettibone, Abrianna Pettibone and Rylie Seddon, all of Pittsfield; his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Pettibone of Pittsfield; his mother, Penny Frenier of Pittsfield; his sister, Tanya Pettibone of Pittsfield; his brothers, Nicholas Frenier of Kentucky and Joel Frenier of Pittsfield; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; and his canine best friend, Bear.
He was predeceased by his father, Paul F. Pettibone Jr., in January of 2019; and his paternal grandfather, Paul F. Pettibone Sr., in November of 2018.
Funeral notice: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at the Salvation Army on West Street in Pittsfield. Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. with the service to follow.
