PITTSFIELD, Mass. — James "Jim" Christopher Deeley, 56, died Monday, June 15, 2020, at UMASS Medical Center after fighting a long illness.
Jim was born in Pittsfield, Mass., on November 1, 1963, a son of Martha (Kickery) Cook and the late John Deeley. He attended schools in Pittsfield and Cheshire. He was a self-employed carpet installer, serving all of the Berkshires and Southern Vermont.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Deeley of Williamstown; a stepson, Michael Murphy of North Adams; their mother, Brenda Murphy of North Adams; his mother, Martha Cook of Arizona; his grandchildren, MacKenzie and Kaleb Baum; a sister, Victoria Dermith of Springfield; four brothers, John Deeley of Pennsylvania, Jeff Deeley of Adams, Jody Deeley of Lee and Jay Deeley of Pittsfield; and many neices and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Deeley.
