PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Mrs. Patricia A. (Daniels) Casella, 71, of Pittsfield, died on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at her home.
She was born in Americus, Georgia on March 14, 1952, a daughter of the late Dan and Laura (Dodson) Daniels. She attended schools in Georgia and graduated from the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, CT.
Mrs. Casella was primarily a homemaker but had worked for Ad Lib, Inc. in Pittsfield and had taught sign language classes.
She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Community Church in Holyoke.
Her husband, Stephen P. Casella is deceased.
She is survived by two sons, Edward Pratt, Jr., and his wife Amy of Adams and Clint Casella of San Antonio, TX; one brother, James Daniels; four sisters, Lillian Wallace, Frances Daniels, Barbara Scott and Sarah Bacon; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her former husband Edward Pratt, Sr., and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was predeceased by her son, Steven Casella; two brothers, John Daniels and Dan Daniels, Jr., and by her sister Helen Daniels.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 27th at 1:00 P.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams.
Burial will be at a later date.
Calling hours are Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
