Michael Timothy McCabe, 58 of Pittsfield died peacefully Friday June 23, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Pittsfield on June 22, 1965 a son of the late Thomas and Ada (Casucci) McCabe.

Michael attended schools in Pittsfield and graduated from Pittsfield High School. He also attended Florida Institute of Technology and the University of Massachusetts. He was last employed as a web designer for Boxcar Media.

Michael enjoyed carpentry, music and the arts but his true passion was his children.

Survivors include his children Terry McCabe of New Orleans, Louisiana, Brian McCabe of Pittsfield, Casey McCabe of Pittsfield and Robyn McCabe of Austin Texas, sisters Susan McCabe of Pittsfield, Bonnie McCabe of Springfield and brother Kevin McCabe and his wife Nancy of Delray Beach, Florida. He also leaves nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Louis "Lou" McCabe and Terry McCabe.

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday June 29, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Funeral Home, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
