Laura A. Page, 84, of Rio Rancho, N.M., formerly of Pittsfield, died Feb. 1, at Rio Rancho Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Pittsfield on April 21, 1917, daughter of George H. and Laura Agnes McDermott Perron, she received her bachelor of science degree from Bridgewater State College. She moved to New Mexico in 1969.
Mrs. Page was employed as a teacher in the Pittsfield Public School system and in the Albuquerque (N.M.) Public Schools, from which she retired.
She was a member of St. Jude's Church in Albuquerque and, while in Pittsfield, of St. Mary the Morning Star Church.
She leaves her husband of 57 years, Henry D. Page; two daughters, Laura Page Cox of Waterbury, Conn., and Dianne Page Britain of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
A private funeral Mass will be held at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to Vistacare Hospice, 8804 Washington NE, Suite C, Albuquerque, NM 87113, or to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, NM 87710. Arrangements by VISTA VERDE MORTUARY.
