Constance Genevieve Decelles, 96, of 11 Francis Plaza died Saturday morning at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 16, 1906, daughter of Joseph and Amanda Champagne Decelles, she was a 1926 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Miss Decelles was employed as a clerk at the former Berkshire Bank & Trust for 17 years, retiring in 1971. Before that, she worked in the office at the former England Brothers department store for many years.
She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church. She leaves a brother, Horace Decelles of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Miss Constance G. Decelles, 96, who died Saturday, Dec. 28, will be celebrated tomorrow, Dec. 31, at 10 at Notre Dame Church by the Rev. Earl Hebert, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
