Terri L. Messer, 42, of 50 Dalton Ave. died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Los Angeles on Aug. 26, 1960, daughter of Helen Ruth, she attended schools there.
She came to Pittsfield in 1994.
Mrs. Messer was a self-employed caretaker for elderly people for many years.
She enjoyed camping.
She and her husband, David L. Messer, were married Oct. 27, 1995.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Bruce Gray of Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Tiffany Gray of Sacramento: a sister, Penny Ostrander of Oroville, Calif., and a granddaughter.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Terri Messer will be conducted tomorrow, Aug. 12, at 11 at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Ashley Smith.
Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 10 to 11 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. She leaves her granddaughter, Tristen Fikes.
