Vincent Joseph Carpino, 75, of Springfield died yesterday at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Born in Pittsfield on March 24, 1928, son of Egidio and Rose Ventura Carpino, he was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
He later settled in Springfield.
He leaves a brother, Richard R. Carpino of Watertown, Conn., and three sisters, Barbara E. Carpino, Bernadette M. Carpino and Louise T. Hannifin, all of Springfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Vincent J. Carpino, who died Aug. 12, 2003, will be held Thursday at 1 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Pittsfield; all other services will be private at the family’s request.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to SAMPSON FAMILY CHAPEL. He was predeceased by two brothers, S. Francis Carpino and Donald S. Carpino.
