Olga A. Horbul, 90, of Berkshire Place, formerly of 15 Springside Ave., died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 12, 1913, daughter of Michael and Julia Laskow Horbul, she attended local schools.
She had been employed by GE for many years, retiring in 1968.
She was a longtime volunteer at RSVP of Pittsfield and was once named Volunteer of the Year.
She was also a volunteer at the Jewish Community Center.
Her closest survivors are several nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Miss Olga A. Horbul died in Pittsfield on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003. She leaves her nephew and his wife, Robert and Kathleen Horbul, and her niece and her husband, Judith and Daniel Hannon, as well as other great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 13, at 11 at the DWYER FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. Charles Young, minister at HospiceCare in the Berkshires, officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
