Elizabeth Fredericka Henry, 82, formerly of 38 Bernard St., Springfield, died Tuesday at Chapin Center in Springfield.
She was the mother of Constance M. Flynn of Pittsfield.
Born in Springfield on Oct. 19, 1921, daughter of John and Caroline Petersen Anderson, she was a graduate of Commerce High School.
She was a former volunteer for the Salvation Army.
Her husband, Raymond E. Henry, died in 1964.
Besides her daughter, she leaves two sons, Raymond E. Henry Jr. of Springfield and Peter J. Henry of Highland Park, Ill.; three other daughters, Ann H. Goss of New York City, Laura M. Saliba of Westfield and Karen Allen of Stratham, N.H.; a sister, Ruth DeVore of White Bear Lake, Minn., 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Elizabeth Henry, who died March 16, 2004, will be Saturday at 8:30 from TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 at St. Anthony Maronite Church.
Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7:30 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Chapin Center, Attn: Activity Department, 200 Kendall St., Springfield, MA 01104.
