Elizabeth Matilda Peaslee, 86, of 10 Keeler St. died Tuesday morning at home.
Born March 21, 1918, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wayne, she attended Pittsfield schools.
A homemaker, Mrs. Peaslee enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
Her husband, Edward N. Peaslee, whom she married Oct. 16, 1936, died May 29, 1996.
She leaves four sons, Armond Peaslee, with whom she resided, Edward Peaslee of Moore, Okla., Wayne Peaslee of Southbridge and Gary Peaslee of Queensbury, N.Y.; a daughter, Penny Peaslee of Pittsfield; a sister, Esther White of New York state, 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Donna P. Chapman, died Dec. 12, 1987.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Elizabeth Matilda Peaslee, who died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, also leaves her daughter-in-law, Linda (Mrs. Armond) Peaslee, with whom she made her home.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, April 3, at 1 at DERY FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. William D. Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Peaslee may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
