Jeannette Florence Charland, 88, of Dartmouth Street died Tuesday at Craneville Place in Dalton.
Born in Bingham, Maine, on Nov. 30, 1915, daughter of Adelard and Marie Lamontagne Charland, she was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
Miss Charland had been employed as an insulator in the power transformer department at GE for 25 years, retiring in 1968.
She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church and a member of its St. Anne's Guild.
She leaves a sister, Adrienne Cornellier of Lenox.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Jeannette Florence Charland, who died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, will be tomorrow, Nov. 5, at 8:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 9 at St. Joseph's Church by the Rev. Michael Shershanovich, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne's Guild in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
