Norma Amelia Plouffe, 90, formerly of 90 McIntosh Drive, died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center.
She had resided at Kimball Farms Nursing Center in Lenox for two months.
Born in Pittsfield on May 12, 1914, daughter of Felice A. and Caterina Sibbna Chiorgno, she attended local schools.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Plouffe had worked in various retail stores.
She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Her husband, Bernard O. Plouffe, whom she married Feb. 19, 1938, died Jan. 11, 2003.
She leaves a son, Frederick A. Plouffe of Pittsfield; a sister, Clelia Edda of Pittsfield; a brother, Remo Chiorgno of Texas; 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Another son, Alan L. Plouffe, died March 17, 1993.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Calling hours for Norma Chiorgno Plouffe, 90, will be Thursday from 10 to 11 at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Donations may be made to the vacation fund of the individual's choice.
