BELCHERTOWN, Mass. -- Simon Mele hit for the cycle on Tuesday night to lead the Pittsfiel dPost 68 Juniors to a 12-0 win over Belchertown Post 239 in American Legion Baseball action.

 

Mele went 4-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and six RBIs in the win.

 

He doubled in a pair of runs in the first inning, tripled in two runs in the third, singled in the fifth and hit a two-run homer in the sixth.

 

Gavin O'Donnell also doubled in an eight-hit attack for Post 68.

 

O'Donnell and Devin Reynolds split time on the mound, striking out 11 and scattering four hits.

 

Post 68 (5-2) travels to Westfield on Thursday to play Post 124.

GREENFIELD, Mass. -- Greenfield Post 81 rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to take a one-run lead and held on for a 9-8 win over North Adams Post 125 on Tuesday.
